- How are products delivered?

All products are delivered electronically.

- What happens after I place an order?

Upon purchase, customers are emailed a download URL, installation password and personalized activation key. The activation key is used to register and enable the full functionality of the commercial version.

Do I receive an invoice for my order?

Yes. An electronic invoice/receipt will been sent by email. If you need it for accounting purposes, please buy using the Avangate service.

- Is there a difference between the registered and evaluation versions?

There are no differences between the registered versions and evaluation versions, except the evaluation version is designed to expire after 30 days.

- How long does the ordering process take?

If ordering online, customers should receive their registration email within few hours of placing their order, normally a lot sooner. If ordering by check, or purchase order, registration email is delayed until payment is received.

- I haven't received my license registration e-mail, what should I do?

Check any spam filters that you have installed, it is possible that your registration e-mail was snagged by an errant spam filter. If you are using a spam challenge system, check to see if your registration e-mail is waiting for confirmation. I do try and respond to spam challenges but it can delay the registration e-mail. Make sure you supplied a valid e-mail address when submitting your order. If you have not received your registration e-mail within 24 hours, please contact pdfe@rttsoftware.com for assistance.

- Can I fax in my order?

Yes, however, you must obtain a reference number prior to ordering by fax. To obtain a fax reference number, visit the buy page and follow the Avangate BuyNow links for ordering online. You will be required to entered your contact information and select the ordering method. Upon selecting Fax ordering, you will be given a reference number, fax number, and further instructions.

- What are the requirements for academic licenses?

Discounts are open to students, professors and computer labs, providing discounted products are not used for commercial purposes. If you find yourself needing or using the products for commercial purposes, please respect the license terms by purchasing, or asking your client or employer to purchase a license to use the product, at regular prices. To request academic discount contact pdfe@rttsoftware.com with some valid proof of academic association.

- What is the update policy?

All updates within a major release are free. If you license version 1.x.x.x, you can always use the latest 1.x release free. There is a 50% discount for updating between major releases. So if you license version 1.x, there will be a charge for updating to version 2.0. There is also a grace period. If you purchase within twelve months of the new major release, the update will be free. Once you update to a major version, all same major version releases will be free and so on.

- Will you automatically notify me when updates are available?

Yes. All registered users receive new releases notification emails, with new version download link and installation password. The embedded check for updates tool will also notify you when a new version is online.

- What support options are available?

Support is always free. The products help files should answer most of your questions. This is available from within the product using the Help menu. It is also available online. In addition to the product help you can access the support Forum where you may find your question has already been answered. If you cannot find the answer to your questions please post it in the forum, and enhance this way the support information, or contact me at pdfe@rttsoftware.com. While not essential it is recommended that you install the latest version before reporting problems. At this time I can only offer support via e-mail, there is no telephone support available. You will typically receive a response to your e-mail within a few hours or first thing next day if your e-mail is received overnight.
