Replace tool in Batch tools

Hello,

Another suggestion for improvement.

My problem: how to change only a part of the metadata expression?

e.g. field author:company_name - division_name - person_name

When I need change division_name but I don't want
to change the company_name or person_name for many files
and person_name is for each file different only options
is make the change for each file separately.

Would be possible to add in the section "Batch Tools/Edit info Fields"
options "replace" for each type of metadata?
I mean something like in Microsoft Word Edit/Replace or better
take inspiration from Total commander Multi-Rename Tool.

sorento

RTT

Nice, EditInfoFields batch tool Search&Replace mode now in the TODO list. The major problem is how to change the current GUI to accomplish this new edit method, SearchText/ReplaceByText ::)

Search text, and replace by, to all the selected fields, or possibility to supply different Search/ReplaceBy expressions to all the fields individually. Probably the first option...
