Deleting Pages in PDF files

Could you add in Tools menu options Delete Pages?

From time to time I need to delete specific page in a PDF file and why to use external application?

It would be nice if this tool will work with more files.

E.g. delete first page from all selected files.

You can add possibility to define rules like for Split/extract pages.


Also you can add check box in dialog window of the Split/extract pages Delete After Extract.

If checked PDFE will extract defined pages and delete them from source document.

For your example, "delete first page from all the selected files" you can use the split/extract pages tool, rule "2-".
Create new documents, but with the first page striped, as needed.

Other rules expressions can be used to remove middle pages.

Even so, a merge like tool, where we can define the pages to delete with rule fill accelerators to enter delete First/Last pages rules, will be much more handy for that operation.

Ok, I will try to add the "Delete Pages" tool and split/extract "strip extracted pages from source file" option into next release.

Yes, I can use it but than I have to select and delete the original files.

This is the same.
And although the rules are very powerful for routine work you need something more intuitive, like buttons and check boxes.

I think it would be not bad to have more tools to do one operation.

Everyone can choose what tool and what way to use it suits his needs the best.
