Thumbnail View?

Hi I am evaluating your program and have searched the manual but do not find the answer to the following:

Is there a thumbnail view of multiple files, or do I have to view then individually?

There is no thumbnail view, only tabular text grid view with access to a full reader for the active file.
The advanced web interface client has that functionality, check the online demo, but it lacks the power of the main program.

Take a look to the PDF-ShellTools tool, that extends the Windows shell with some of the tools also provided by the PDF Explorer. It may be sufficient for your PDFs managements needs, and the shell already has thumbnails view available.

if there is not thumbnail view, it occurs to me possibly I misunderstand the program...

Is one able to select multiple files and change the metadata of the selected group?  I think the answer is yes, but I am just confirming. 

If so, I would think having a thumbs view of the selection (which can be used to select more/de-select files) would be an important tool in expanding/narrowing the group of selected files to which metadata is edited.

I will look into PDF Shell Tools, but I like other aspects of PDFE, which I understood to be more geared toward document management.  In my case, seeing multiple files I want to work on is fundamental to managing collections of documents.

Metadata is usually what is needed to select the files you need to process. Obviously the first page thumbnail may be useful too, but that is not currently available in PDFE.

Yes, using the full featured edit info fields batch tool.

You have a global option you can enable from your user profile settings, to automatically enable notification for each topic you reply, or you can just click the "notify" button at the top right and bottom right of each topic thread you may be reading or replying to.
