Settings don't work for non-admin

I'm testing the trial version right now. Everything seems to be working fine for the admin user. For non-admin-users though the settings of

# which metadata appear in the metadata edit pane
dont work and cannot be set.

# the metadata cannot be seen or set in windows explorer (right click) property window

After logging out und logging in again, the settings are forgotten and we are back to zero.
The columns for windows explorer can be chosen and show content.
What can I do? Thanks

Please run this diagnostics tool. One time from your admin account and another from the non-admin user account, and attach here in a forum reply, or send by email, the text output of the two tests.
It just grab the state of relevant keys from your Windows registry.
