Locked PDF
« on: February 10, 2012, 03:06:59 AM »
Hi Rui,

Not sure if it can be done, but sometimes PDF's are accidently left open when you try and use a tool, it obviously doesn't work. Is there any way of throwing up an error when the process can't be completed or when the file is noted as being locked?

Cheers,

Luke

Yes, Luke, that's something I really need to work on. Simple things such as have the PDF open in the Windows Explorer Preview Pane is sufficient to get the file locked (many preview handlers have this bad behavior) and not getting any error message, when that happens, is bad tool design. Thanks for remember me this, that now popped up to the top of the list.
